WATCH: Battle Creek Police Department Releases Lip Sync Video
The Battle Creek Police Department have become the next law enforcement agency to jump on the popular wave of police lip sync videos. Like the other police departments, they NAILED it with a montage of several popular songs from many genres!
They had hoped to get it out sooner, but admit they faced some challenges along the way. In a press release, the BCPD said:
"Sorry it took so long... you may know we've been moving (into our new facility) at the same time! Thanks for your patience."
Hey, we believe it was well worth the wait.
A few weeks ago the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety released their much anticipated lip sync video covering Justin Timberlake's "Can't Fight The Feeling". The Sturgis Police Department has also taken part in the fun performing a lip sync to Twisted Sister's 1980s hit "I Wanna Rock" which they released a few weeks ago.
It's all part of a popular craze that has been spreading like wildfire around the country recently. It's called the "Police Lip Sync Challenge" and it features members of law enforcement recording a video in uniform performing popular songs. Often, departments are publicly challenging other departments in their area to do one after they release a video.
