Much like the fish in the Two Hearted logo, this one's a keeper.

Bell's Brewery and the Kalamazoo Wings announced today they will be putting up a collector's item Two Hearted K-Wings hockey jersey for auction to benefit two local organizations, the Kalamazoo Friends of Recreation, and the Comstock Community Center, as well as helping the beneficiaries of the Bell's Scrambled Golf Outing, which was cancelled this year due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The specifics of the auction are: Thirty-four (34) of these limited edition jerseys will go up for auction, seven each week, beginning on Monday, July 13th at 10am, and you'll be able to bid on them through the week of August 10. (The final week there will only be six for auction.)

The two organizations say there will be a special broadcast that will "walk viewers through the entire bidding and auction process." That will be live on the K-Wings’ Facebook page this Monday, July 13, at 10 am, and available afterward for watching.

Before the pandemic, March 21 was supposed to be Two Hearted Night at Wings Stadium, but then the entire sports world shut down. But Two Hearted Day is August 15th, and that will be incorporated into the celebration.

“The K-Wings are very excited to be able to auction these unique Bell's jersey's to the masses.  Due to the nature of not being able to gather we are utilizing our collective social networks to raise monies for two great local community non-profits,”  - Toni Lentini-Daniels, K-Wings Governor and Director of Business Operations.

The dream match-up if the K-Wings were wearing these jerseys would be a game against the Toledo Walleye.
