Black Owl Coffee Shop Closing for 2020

A Kalamazoo favorite is shutting down for 2020, but not forever. Black Owl Cafe will close, but Kalamazoo Coffee Company is still roasting local blends.

Like that first sip of bold, black coffee, the news was eye-opening. Black Owl Cafe shared the news on their Facebook page August 6 that they would be closing for the balance of 2020.

Although we would love to see your smiling faces enjoying a latte in our café- we believe this is the best choice for us. We will reopen at some point in 2021. With that being said- we are offering Monthly Coffee Subscriptions and if you sign up this month you will receive a bunch of FREE SWAG with your first order!

Kalamazoo Coffee Company hand brews 17 blends at 414 Walbridge St. and while java lovers can still brew their favorites at home, the news was saddening to the coffee community. They promise this is only an "extended break" and they will be back in person soon.
