After a dreadful loss to the Toledo Rockets, the Western Michigan Broncos are home again hosting one of the top teams in the Mid-American Conference's East Division.

The Broncos suffered their first conference loss to the Rockets in a 51-24 drubbing, ending a six-game winning streak overall. With three conference games remaining Western remains in the hunt for the West Division championship, just a half game behind the Northern Illinois Huskies. The Broncos host the Huskies in the final week of the regular season.

Western also may have lost starting quarterback Jon Wassink with a foot injury. True freshman Kaleb Eleby stepped right in and showed promise, throwing two touchdowns in a relief on a 293-yard night.

Broncos head coach Tim Lester talks about his squads refocus after a loss, an update on Wassink and what Eleby will be able to provide as he gets his first collegiate start against the Ohio Bobcats.

The Bobcats have won two straight and are just one win away from becoming bowl eligible with their sixth win on the season. Ohio head coach Frank Solich explains that his Bobcats and Western are very similar to each other in playing style, and how difficult it is to play at Waldo Stadium.

Since Lester took over the reigns at Western last year, the Broncos are 1-4 during mid-week contests in November. Ohio has gone 3-2 during the same period, including last Thursday's 52-14 victory over the Ball State Cardinals.

Kick-off at Waldo Stadium is at 7pm, with the game being broadcast on ESPNU. There are tons of tickets still available for this mid-week contest. For all the game notes heading into this pivotal MAC contest, check out Western's game notes.
