Dead and Company Announce 2018 Tour
Dead & Company are hitting the road again this summer. The Grateful Dead offshoot band has lined up two dozen dates that will take them throughout the U.S.
Shows launch on May 30 in Mansfield, Mass., and wind through the States – with stops in Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles – before wrapping up with a pair of concerts in Boulder, Colo., on July 13 and 14. The tour includes a handful of cities where two shows will be performed, including dates in New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin and California.
You can see the full list of dates below.
Like the latest round of tour dates, the new Dead & Company tour will feature singer and guitarist John Mayer, who was asked by ex-Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann to join the band in 2015. Bassist and drummer Oteil Burbridge and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti round out the group.
Just last month, three concerts were canceled after Mayer underwent an emergency appendectomy. Dead & Company have a few more shows on their itinerary before the summer tour begins, including make-up dates for the three postponed concerts, as well as a four-night stand in Mexico.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale Jan. 26 and Jan. 27. Check the band's official site for more detailed information regarding ticket sales.
