Just when you thought you'd heard it all comes this latest "sign' of the times.  I saw a picture of an amusement park character with it's hands on the shoulder of a little girl and it looked like one of the hands was making the "OK" sign.  The article then informed me that this sign we've been using all these years stands for "white power" with the 3 fingers making a "W" and the thumb & fore finger making the "P".  Well I'd never heard of such a thing.

The article is on usatoday.com and it explains the whole thing.  Well I gotta tell ya, I'm not going to stop using the OK sign.  I've been using it all my life and just because it got co-opted that's too bad.  I don't know about you but it's an important piece of the way I communicate.  Sure I use the "thumbs up" sign more often but it doesn't cover all the bases for me when I want to give a positive non-verbal response or reaction.  Listen, I can't stop!  I won't!  Check out the article by clicking HERE.
