Do You Remember The Darkness?

Do you remember the band, The Darkness?  They were the British band responsible for the cheesy song and video, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" from 2003.  They are back with a new album set for release this summer.

To me they sort of fell off the radar around the release of their 2nd album, "One Way Ticket To Hell... and Back", which came out back in 2005.  This band was sort of a guilty pleasure of mine at the time.  I ended up forgetting about them because they broke up for a few years with the members forming their own bands.

Hot Leg, featured singer Justin Hawkins.  The other guys formed a band called, The Stone Gods.  They reunited and released an album called, "Hot Cakes" that came out in 2012.

Their now back with a new album called, "Last of Our Kind".  If you enjoy 70's and 80's glam rock you should enjoy these guys.  They love to over use the Queen-esque vocals on their songs.  The first single from their new album is called, "Barbarian".  Look for the new album out in June.
