This last Elton John concert was supposed to happen last year, but with Covid, this "final" concert will happen next year, maybe. And maybe three times. Can you keep that straight?

Sir Elton John is resuming his postponed final concert tour, titled "Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour” and the Detroit stop is Comerica Park on on Monday July 18, 2022. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 30th at 10am Eastern Time through the Detroit Tigers. No kidding. There's also bonuses for Elton John fan club members, and Tigers fans. VIP packages are already on sale. Good luck.

And just to confuse you a little more, John is still set to appear at Little Caesars Arena in February of next year. No matter where, the tickets prices are well into the triple digits.

Now, depending how big a fan your are this Hall of Famer, the question can be asked, how can we miss you if you won't go away. Three show, two different venues, in the space of six months.

But at the same time, there aren't that many legends left and John turns 75 in 2022, so if he's on your bucket list, then it's well worth it, as it was almost thirty years ago, when another legend, Frank Sinatra was 76 when played The Palace of Auburn Hills. He needed a teleprompter, but it was still Sinatra. John seems to be in better shape and again, legends don't grow on trees.
