FireKeepers Costume Contest Better Than Ever [Pics]

Every year we think there's no way this event can get any better but there we were at Firekeepers Casino Hotel on Friday night and it was a wild time.  I never ceases to amaze me how much thought, planning and effort goes into creating the costumes every year.  There were some entries that chronicled the making of the entry down to every last detail.  We were there to judge and select the top 10 which was whittled down to the top 5 and then the huge crowd gathered in the middle of the casino floor decided by applause who would win the big prize.

The 2019 winner was Bumble Bee the Transformer which stood above the rest.  See what I did there?  And the rest of the top 5 were certainly worthy of that distinction.  One of the things I look for every year is when somebody surprises with their selection and then executes the making of it to near perfection.  This year's entry along those lines was the Rabbit In The Hat.  Very cool.
