Foo Fighters Rock Austin City Limits

One of the cities that the Foo Fighters visited to record,"Sonic Highways" was Austin Texas.  So it wasn't a surprise that the band taped an episode of, "Austin City Limits" which airs on PBS.  

Their episode ran over the weekend.  I forgot it was on so I'm glad I came across the episode online.  If you missed it, they performed a 9 song set that included songs from "Sonic Highways", "Wasting Light" and songs through out their career.  They were also joined by Austin's own, Gary Clark Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan on a cover of The Fabulous Thunderbirds song, "Tuff Enuff".  A great performance which you can see in the video.

"Austin City Limits" wraps up it's 40th season this weekend with a Hall of Fame Special  looking back at it's 4 decades.
