In case you didn't know, and I'm guessing you didn't because I just found out, Governor Whitmer has declared this week March 24-30 Michigan's Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Along with all the other facets of this week, broadcasters like us here at Townsquare Media South West Michigan will partner with the Michigan State Police and conduct a statewide tornado drill.

The drill itself will take place this Wednesday March 27th at 1pm.  It will sound much like the EAS tests you here on a weekly and/or monthly basis but will simulate what an actual tornado warning announcement would sound like.  I just want to give everybody the heads up so you don't get caught off guard.  I know what you're saying, it's going to be partly sunny and 55 on Wednesday so most people would realize it's a drill.  Wednesday's forecast is a good thing because if it was a day that looked like there could be severe weather more than a few people would be caught off guard.  Anyway, spread the word and happy drilling.  Wait...that didn't sound right.
