1) Millwright Journeyman

Starting at $34.88/hour

Be able to provide documentation of Millwright journeyman status. Demonstrate and provide working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, basic welding skills (stick and wire), acetylene torch use, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission equipment, read and understand mechanical drawings, bearing (straight and taper bore) removal and installation, alignment of equipment using dial indicator and laser (motor gearbox, gearbox/roll), rigging skills (use of cranes, chain hoists, come alongs, slings) and other mechanical components at a papermill scale.

2) E&I Journeyman Maintenance

Starting at $34.88/hour

Must be a Journeyman Electrician and provide Journeyman card. Demonstrate and provide working knowledge of PLC's , drives, instrumentation, controls, NFPA 70E regulations. Ability to read electrical blueprints, and related technical manual. Computer skills. Craft flexibility.

3) General Laborer

$19.18/hour at the Kalamazoo Mill

Candidates must have a high school education or equivalent, be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check (felony free facility).

Candidates must also be able to work a rotating schedule such as follows: 3rd shift for 7 days with two days off returning on 2nd shift for 7 days with one day off returning on 1st shift for 7 days with four days off rotating back to 3rd shift.

Job functions include but are not limited to: Slabbing rolls, banding and labeling rolls, pounding core plugs into rolls, loading cores into core hoppers, general clean up and scrap pick up during breaks.

4) Maintenance Outage Planner

This position supports the shutdown/outage maintenance planning functions and utilizes a systems approach to coordinate the estimating and planning of both mechanical and electrical work for major outages. The scope of work will include job scoping, labor estimating, material identification and procurement for outage/shutdowns such as monthly and annual outages.

5) Maintenance Planner

9) Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager for Stock Prep provides overall maintenance leadership responsibility, technical direction, administrative management, and leadership to the Stock Prep maintenance supervisors, planners millwrights and electricians. Actively leads and participates in the plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts.

The K2 Paper machine Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the paper machine production, quality, immediate maintenance coordination and safety. This supervision includes hourly employees on shift, and indirect supervision over more employees on off shifts.

The supervisor performs safety, quality, process, and mechanical checks. We have to make sure that the jobs are correctly filled with qualified people, constantly monitoring what is going on, filling out reports, scheduling and making corrections to ez labor for payroll to be processed, taking care of people issues, see to it that mechanical issues are taken care of, and much, much more. Duties vary from day to day, depending on machine run-ability, people issues, or managerial requests.

12) Process Engineer

  • Learning designed to develop engineering skills, provide fast-track industry experience, and teach “hands-on” engineering processes and strategies
  • Develop relationships with leadership and operators
  • Lead engineering projects that impact key business initiatives – sometimes individual projects, and sometimes leading a team
  • Attends and participates in department meetings as scheduled
  • Troubleshooting of tasks based on need – can be in various areas including the paper machines, stock prep, waste water, powerhouse and any other area required

13) Process Controls Engineer

The Process Control Engineer will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. This position serves as a point position for all facets of day-to-day process control support. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities and qualifications:
