Happy 67th To Donald Fagen

Donald Fagen has been a big influence on my interest in Music.  From the First time I heard "Peg" when I was a kid, I was hooked on Steely Dan.   This weekend Don turns 67.  Steely Dan was also just announced as one of the many bands playing Coachella in April.  I've mentioned this many times but my nickname "Fly" comes from Don's song, "The Nightfly".  It's just one of many songs of his and of course of Steely Dan that I enjoy.

Recently, Don toured with Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs as "The Dukes Of September".  I unfortunately didn't get the chance to see that tour but thankfully they did release a DVD of the shows.   Hopefully those three will hit the road again some day.  If not I at least hope that Steely Dan continues to tour or if Don decides to do a solo tour again, I get the chance to see that.  A true legend that if you get the chance to see live make it happen.  Happy Birthday Donald!  One of My All Time Favorites.
