Let me start by saying that the sickness and death will never be overshadowed by anything else that comes with the aftereffects of the pandemic.  What we find ourselves doing is trying to imagine what life is going to be like in the months and years to come.  Many are calling it the "new normal" where somethings will never be the same.  Right now we're thinking about all the "inconveniences" but as we move forward we may realize that there will be a lot of hardship on different levels for different people.

So lets, for a moment, try to imagine what summer will be like this year.  So far its looking cooler than normal but that could change.  Will it be safe to swim in lakes?  How about pools?  If not, there goes the water parks too.  But what about amusement parks?  They're outdoors which is good.  However, you're looking at big crowds making social distancing a problem.  Or will it?

There's word that places like Cedar Point and Michigan's Adventure might be mulling a solution to this problem.  It's called RESERVATIONS.  Frankly, that never dawned on me and the more I think about it the more I like it.  Granted, it doesn't present a completely safe environment but it looks like we're going to have to make some compromises overall.

Like restaurants they won't be able to operate at full capacity which is just what we want right?  A park that's less crowded means less waiting in line.  What about if it's going to be more expensive?  Hey, I buy the fast passes anyway so it's always going to be expensive for me.  I think it's a win win.  We still get to go to the parks and there's less people.  I want to make my reservations right now!
