What has the world come to.  We've gone from con men to phone scammers to cyber scammers and now to steaming scammers.  And not just any streaming service.  Our beloved Netflix!  It's like messing with baseball, hotdogs and apple pie!!!  But just like anything else, nothing is sacred anymore and we have to be on the look out constantly.

According to an article on wxyz.com, here's how it works.  You get an email that says your account is on hold and please update your payment details.  In the email you'll see this:  "Hi Dear, We're having some trouble with your current billing information. We'll try again, but in the meantime you may want to update your payment details," then you'll be prompted to click on a link.  That's when the scam really gets going as all your information is downloaded to a criminal source.  Netflix says if you believe you've received a fraudulent email appearing to have come from the company, never enter your details, never click on any links and do not reply.  Instead forward to phishing@netflix.com.
