It's that time of year again when the kids go back to school.  I was just saying to my neighbor yesterday how nice it would be if we were back to school kids again but as adults.  When we look at it now, why did we think it was so bad?  It sure beats working for a living.  I think I would do so much better in school because of what I know now.  But isn't that the case with everything if you could "go back"?

The issue, however, is not about maturity which is what we're really talking about but, instead, how much smarter we would be.  Sure we'd be smarter in a lot of things but how much better in the basics?  I can say with the utmost certainty that I would fail algebra or, at least, barely pass as was the case in 1977.  But what about a simple 4th grade science test?  I took it and passed but I didn't get them ALL right.  The folks at msn.com put one together.  Go ahead and take a shot.
