Past favorites and a unique new combination of artists have been provisionally scheduled for three separate Summer series of concerts at Meijer Gardens.

Outdoor gatherings are not yet a sure thing in 2021, but Meijer Gardens is anticipating we will be able to get together and enjoy some music in the outdoors under the stars. West Michigan's favorite summertime venue has just released a very eclectic lineup of concerts. There will be three different musical series, spotlighting the symphony, local artists and national acts from classic rock to classical hip-hop.

We are pleased to announce plans for the safe return of live music this summer with three unique series – Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens, Tuesday Evening Music Club and the Jim & Marie Preston Sunday Strings, featuring musicians from the Grand Rapids Symphony and West Michigan. All dates, performers and information are subject to changed based on COVID-19 restrictions.

The national acts will take to the stage in July, August and September if regulations allow. Five of the thirty shows have been revealed, with returning favorites like jam band O.A.R. and retro-soul stylists St. Paul & the Broken Bones on the docket. Michigan's own The Verve Pipe, who scored a Top 5 hit in 1997 with "The Freshmen," can still draw a crowd and classic rockers Kansas are still road warriors. The most diverse show is the pairing of Black Violin + Blind Boys of Alabama. The Tuesday Evening Music Club series features local and regional talent, July 6- August 31, and the Sunday Strings shows spotlight Grand Rapids Symphony musicians.
