Still Rockin': Melissa Etheridge to Play Two Michigan Concerts
You're not the only one who remembers Melissa Etheridge. The '90s singer-songwriter is touring in 2021 and will play two Michigan casinos in October.
Her 1988 self-titled debut album garnered Melissa Etheridge some attention and respect with a Grammy Award nomination for "Give Me Some Water." Five years later, Yes I Am broke her mainstream with the success of "Come to My Window," "I'm the Only One," and "If I Wanted To." To date, Etheridge has released 14 albums. Three of the discs went multi-platinum, she earned two Platinum records and a pair of Gold records yielding 11 Billboard Hot 100 hits.
During the pandemic, Melissa Etheridge put on Friday night livestream concerts to keep in practice and stay connected to fans. She also wrote new music and her latest project called One Way Out drops on September 17. They are fueling up the bus for a tour to promote it, which begins in August in the rock and roll hotbed of Sandy, Utah. Two Michigan concert stops are planned at casino showrooms.

Other travel plans for Etheridge in 2021 include a cruise from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Ocho Rios and Nassau, Bahamas. Jewel, Shawn Colvin, KT Tunstall, and seventeen other female artists will be the entertainment.
