I have to admit, as I have before, I'm not much of a camper.  When we were kids we pitched tents in the backyard for a night and back in the early 90s my wife Karla talked me into taking the kids to Wisconsin Dells with a pop up to stay at Jellystone Park.  She loves to rough it whereas I prefer a motor home.  Needless to say we haven't been camping since and don't foresee it happening again anyway.  But for those who love to, there's at least one thing you need to know this summer.

According to upmatters.com, if you're headed to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for instance, you'll have to make a reservation.  In the past, locations like this were first come first serve and there are those who think this is something that will be instituted in many more campgrounds this summer due to the short season because of the weather.  Check out more of the locations an other info by clicking HERE.
