Talk about a crappy situation, this woman in Otsego County was (hopefully) just trying to enjoy a day at the lake, but literally fell into a stinky situation.

... and by that I mean, she climbed down into an outhouse toilet and got stuck.

Authorities in Otsego County were called to rescue a woman at the DNR boat launch at Dixon Lake when State Police reported that said woman was stuck... in an outhouse.

And we're not talking about behind the door.

Officials say troopers arrived at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday after the call, and quickly realized, this was no ordinary rescue situation.

The woman had allegedly "plopped" her way into the toilet, with rope tied to the handicap rails behind the toilet. Her intention was to climb back out using the rope, but was unable to do so.

According to Up North Live, the toilet in the outhouse had to be removed, after their arrival, and a strap was lowered down to the woman. She put it around her, and police were able to pull her out.

Thankfully, she wasn't hurt, but obviously, still needed a thorough cleaning... and multiple showers.

So WHY was this woman so compelled to climb down into an outhouse?

Well, apparently, she dropped her Apple Watch into the hole, and it was so important to her, she risked traversing an open hole, full of literal human waste, to get it back.

I don't think I'm alone when I say there is literally NOTHING I could drop into that hole, that would make me want to climb down into it to get it, just short of my own child.

But also, a quick trip to Dollar General to pick a pair of these things would have probably been a smarter choice.
