WARNING: This Indiana Fugitive Sex Offender Could Be In Michigan
The last thing you want to hear about is someone who is a threat to underage children being on the run from the police and invading your neighborhood. This is exactly what's happening now, as police are looking for Indiana 34-year-old Mitchell Wayne Hephner.
Hephner is currently wanted and a warrant has been put out for him, after he recently failed to register as a sex or violent offender, and is now facing two level 5 felony counts because of it.

WLNS believes there could be a possibility that he is in Michigan somewhere, as they describe him and his connections:
Hephner is described as a white male standing 6’1″ tall and weighing approximately 190 lbs. He has long brown hair, brown eyes, and is known to have a goatee or beard. He also has tattoos all over his body including his face.
As they continue, they feel they may know where he could be:
The sheriff’s office reports that Hephner is believed to be in Williams County, OH or southern Michigan. He also has ties to DeKalb and Allen counties in Indiana.
KPC News originally reported when he turned himself in to the police in 2018:
Hephner was booked into jail on a Level 5 felony charge of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a Level 6 charge of failure to register as a sex or violent offender and a Level 5 felony charge of being an habitual offender.
Since then, as you can see, he had a little more tattoo work done to his face, so he should be a very hard person to miss.
