More Roundabouts Coming

I remember the first time I came up on a roundabout.  It was in my hometown of Kenosha, WI; actually it was the municipality just to the South called Pleasant Prairie near my older sister Debbie's house.  I had no idea what it was or what I was supposed to do.  Since then there have been several installed in our area. To be honest, I wasn't thrilled initially but now having been using the 2 on Sprinkle Rd and I 94, I think there should be more. 

Well guess what?  I'm getting my wish.  The question is: Will they they be around here?  In an article on wnem.com, The Michigan Department Of Transportation issued a statement verifying that they are looking at more roundabout locations for intersections with a high volume of traffic.  I was amazed that there are only 43 roundabouts statewide and we have, what, 3 in Kalamazoo County.  Sprinkle & 94, Milham & 12th St and Gull West of Riverview.  Am I missing any?  And more importantly, where do you think the next one should go?  Get more of the story by clicking HERE.
