Need A New Flag? Art Van Extends Exchange Program

4th of July is next week and if your flag looks like it has seen better days, Art Van is giving the public a chance to get a new one. The furniture chain has extended their flag exchange program.

According to WXYZ,  Art Van have extended their flag exchange program until July 9th.   The program is simply bring in an old worn flag they will replace it with a new one.

The new flag is 3 foot by 5 foot and is available just in time for the upcoming  holiday.  Art Van will retire the old flags as it is listed in the U.S. Flag Code.

The program was originally suppose to end today (June 29th) but with a big response over the Memorial Day Weekend it was extended.

All Art Van locations which include, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri will exchange flags for the public.

Get rid of that old worn out flag and get a nice clean new one to show off this holiday weekend.
