I'm not sure how I feel about this one.  There's a big part of me that continues to be baffled and angered by the fact that people who've had their driver's license revoked numerous times continue to drive and commit crimes and endanger/take lives.  I guess there's only so much you can do to stop humans from being inhumane.

There has been an issue concerning license revocation that hasn't been given a lot of attention but now has the potential to affect many lives.  According to an article on upnorthlive.com, the State of Michigan has been trying to gain leverage on the citizenry to collect delinquent fines in the area of traffic fines.  Up until now, apparently, those who owed haven't been compelled to pay up in a timely manner.  So the State of Michigan went to court to institute harsher penalties which now can result in suspension and possibly revocation.  But unlike drunk drivers and other offenders that put lives in danger, these could be hard working folks that still need to get to work.  It's a bit of a slippery slope.  Get more information by clicking HERE.
