First came Nonla Vietnamese in 2015 (Mattawan). Having seen success from their first restaurant endeavor, owners Johnny and Kelly Nguyen branched out and opened Nonla Burger in 2017 (Kalamazoo). Not to be outdone, the pair set their sights on the wide world of Mexican food and opened Nonla Taqueria in 2018 (Schoolcraft). Now, the couple (that apparently never sleeps) has opened Nonla Banh Mi Togo in downtown Kalamazoo. An extension of Nonla Vietnamese, you can expect the same great flavors the Nonla brand is known for, as well as service with a genuine smile. But don't think this is a carbon copy of their Mattawan restaurant. This location is much more traditional and focuses solely on banh mi. According to owner Kelly Nguyen, "If you go to Vietnam and order from a banh mi cart this is what you will be getting." The menu doesn't stop at delicious sandwiches. You can expect specialty coffees and drinks made to order, rotating salads, desserts and specials, as well, in this wonderfully comfy-cozy addition to Burdick Street.  Good? Pho-getaboutit!

The latest Nonla venture can be found at 436 S. Burdick Kalamazoo 49007. They are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Click here (Nonla-banh-mi-togo) to get a peek at their menu!
