Not a Holiday Classic

Back in 1980 someone had the bright idea to write and record a "Star Wars" themed Christmas album called "Christmas in the Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album".  This bright idea was thought up by Meco the guy responsible for "Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk".  Most of the tracks feature vocals by Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Ben Burtt (who provided sound effects for R2-D2 and Chewbacca).  Other than being one of the worst "Star Wars" themed items released, its also notable for featuring the first professional recording of Jon Bon Jovi who sang vocals on the song "R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas".  If you want a laugh this holiday season listen to this album, the version of "Sleigh Ride" is probably my favorite on the album.
