Queensryche are no strangers to Michigan. The Rocker Morning Show with Meatball and Mark Frankhouse recently talked with Michael Wilton, who said Michigan has always embraced Queensryche as they travel through.

The show is set for Saturday, April 13th. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

There will be an online-only pre-sale starting on Wednesday at 10 a.m. General ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. Friday.

James Shotwell, who is the Marketing Manager for Kalamazoo State Theatre, says they are ecstatic to have this show.

"The Kalamazoo State Theatre has a rich history of bringing world-class entertainment to West Michigan, and we are proud to add Queensryche to that legacy. We know that fans of all ages will be thrilled by this lineup, and we can't wait to see the community come together for this unforgettable show."

For this show, Queensryche will be performing their debut album, "The Warning" in Full, as part of its 40th anniversary. Released in 1984, it catapulted the band to notoriety.

Queensryche is known for their progressive metal sound and groundbreaking albums, such as "Operation: Mindcrime" and "Empire," which continue to deliver their signature mix of thought-provoking lyrics, and complex musical arrangements.

They'll bring with them the mighty Armored Saint, who has been at the forefront of the metal scene since the 1980s.

Tickets can be found on the Kalamazoo State Theatre Website, and through Queensryche's website.
