Reid Gardiner To Replace Justin Taylor For K-Wings At ECHL All Star Game
Justin Taylor last week was named to the All Star team for the K-Wings. He is now injured and recently the league has announced his replacement for the upcoming game.
According to the ECHL, Justin Taylor will be replaced by Reid Gardiner in the game. The All Star Game will be on Monday, January 21st in Toledo.
The league recently announced the captains for the upcoming game, which will see the Eastern and Western conference take on a pair of teams made up of players from host Toledo. The two teams will be Team Fins and Team Hooks.
The All Star Game will be a 3 on 3 tournament. It will also feature the skills competition. The competition will include, fastest skater, hardest shot and shooting accuracy.
If you want to watch the game the NHL Network will air it live at 7 p.m. Monday.
Next up for the Kalamazoo Wings will be Cincinnati on Friday night at Wings Event Center.
Saturday night the K-Wings host Toledo for the 45th Anniversary Celebration. Before the game there will be an alumni game and a ceremony jersey retirement for Georges Gagnon.
