Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry Schedule More Night Sky Cruises

Shepler's Ferry is one of two ferry services that take you to Mackinac Island.  The ferry has also added some more night sky cruises to their usual services for 2020.

According to M-Live, Shepler's Ferry will once again this year feature night sky cruises through out the summer.

The ferry will have 10 different cruises that include sunrise, sunset along with other surprises and two outings to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower.

Northern Michigan is a great place to watch the skies at night.   Near Mackinaw City is the Headlands International Dark Sky Park, one of the best places in the state to view the night sky.

The cruises will feature narration about the events happening during the cruises.  Along with a great view of the sky, you will also get to cruise the Straits of Mackinac.

The cruises will last either 90 minutes or 2 hours for the meteor cruises.   You can get more details on all of their cruises for the season at their website here.
