The Harlem Globetrotters Are Returning To Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo!

You hear that whistling? Slowly creeping into the back of your brain? Sounds familiar right? Joyful. Bouncy. Fun.

It's literally the perfect ear worm, and every time I hear it, I get excited, because it means the Harlem Globetrotters are coming to town, and I can't freakin' WAIT!!

It really doesn't matter if you've seen the Globetrotters one time, or 21 times, it's just as fun every single time. And if this is potentially the first chance you've had to watch their live show on the court, then you are in for a treat.

The Harlem Globetrotters have announced their 2025 World Tour, presented by Jersey Mike's Subs, and they will once again be making a stop at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.

In a press release issued on Monday, Sept. 16th, the Globetrotters announced they're headed back on the road with their "World Record-Breaking, trick-shot stars of basketball," and it's gonna be played out right in front of our faces.

Once again, they'll offer their Magic Pass, which has pre-game interactions with the players (that's where they'll take the ball and spin it on your fingers, or do some of their close-up tricks with you). AND, you'll get some merch, and a photo with the players.

Now, I have to be completely honest, the only time I've SEEN the Globetrotters was on TV. In fact, I'm pretty sure Meadowlark was still tossing popcorn and using the Yo-Yo ball when I last saw them perform.

Now, it's a full new cast from when I grew up knowing them, and they've got new tricks, new games, AND a WHOLE lot more World Records.

The show is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 24th in 2025, and tickets go on sale Sept. 29th, however special pre-sale packages will be available Sept. 23rd.

And just for the heck of it, some CLASSIC Globetrotters from back in the days of Meadowlark Lemon in his prime. The show has become QUITE the high-flying, acrobatic, and comedic showcase since then, but even in the 1970s, these guys really knew how to put on a show.
