Unless you've been completely detached from the world around you, the news from Australia continues to be mostly bad.  More than 16 million acres have gone up in flames. And it has happened in populated areas, unlike most of the world’s other blazes of this scale.  In late October, lightning struck brittle earth in New South Wales. The remains of trees bone dry from consecutive winters with little to no rain were ignited, and the fire quickly spread.  Three months later it's still burning  One of the easiest ways to help is by donating at redcross.org.  And there's another way and you don't have to go very far.

In an article on clickondetroit.com, Outback Steakhouse is making this Sunday Australia Day.  All day when you eat at Outback Steakhouse 100% of the proceeds will go to bushfire relief efforts.  However, there is one thing you have to do besides eat.  You have to show your server a website.  Click HERE to get it and put it on your phone.
