At a Press Conference this afternoon, Long Time New Jersey Devil and current St. Louis Blues Goaltender Martin Brodeur announced his retirement.  The 10 Time All Star Brodeur won 3 Stanley Cups as a member of the Devils. He led the NHL in wins nine times and shutouts on five different occasions. He also won the Vezina Trophy four times and the Jennings Trophy five times, while finishing in the top five of the Hart Trophy voting seven times.

One of the greats who I first remember seeing when he helped the Devils sweep the Red Wings for the cup in the 1995 season. I was surprised when he left the Devils to continue playing but he helped out the Blues when they had goaltender issues.   He is going to remain with the Blues as a senior advisor.  One of the Top Goaltenders of all time and we will see him in Toronto in the Hall of Fame.
