Ramone is living proof that if you do enough stupid radio bits, you'll get on the radio. Originally from the Detroit area, Ramone joined 107.7 RKR in 2006 as The Rocker morning intern. He went on to host nights and mid-days, before accepting a job at Wiser Productions as a talent agent in 2015. But don't worry, he's still lingering around, and you can listen to him preach the gospel of rock n' roll every Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. right here on The Rocker!

Mad Max: Fury Road Trailer [Video]
Well, this certainly looks bad ass. My one concern is this: is Max even in this movie? He gets about 12 seconds of screen time in the trailer. I assume he'll play a bigger part in the movie. Although who knows, Godzilla didn't get much screen time in the remake...
RIP Tommy Ramone
As you all should know, I'm a giant Ramones fan (that's why I'm called Ramone in case you didn't already know). You can imagine how I felt when the news broke that the last surviving member of the Ramones, Tommy, had passed away. The Ramones, to me, are more than just four dudes who played music...
Transformers: Age of ExSTINKtion
OK, the movie wasn't that bad. I get it though, cars turn into robots and beat the crap out of each other. I got that with the first three movies. And this one was almost three hours long. How do you take a movie about robots beating the crap out of each other and stretch that into a three hour film...
A Lesson in Zombie Cinema
First, I'd like to say it's ridiculous that people think zombies are real. The modern zombie was not created by Robert Kirkman of the Walking Dead. The modern zombie was created by George Romero, so when people talk about preparing for the zombie apocalypse, I tell them they're morons, because zombies aren't real, they were a figment of Romero's imagination...
Ramone Reviews: Motley Crue
So, Motley Crue. What happened?
I know it's the opening night of the tour and there will be some kinks that needs to be worked out, but Jesus Christ, the night was filled with poor sound, technical difficulties, and sloppy playing. They opened the set with a track called "Mother F***er of the Year" and they had so many damned flash pots and fireworks going off when they took the stage
Uncle Acid’s Coming to Town
I'll make this quick: in 2011 my buddy Chris (from Green Light Music) sent me a link to download an album from an English band called Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Uncle Acid was signed to Rise Above Records, and I'm a big fan of their bands, so I decided to give this album a shot (plus Chris rarely steers me wrong)...
Hail to the King
That's right, the true King of Kings, King Diamond, has finally announced his long awaited US tour dates! Remember when I put together that bucket list of bands I haven't seen live, well, King Diamond is right at the top! The King hasn't toured the US in about a decade, and after having triple bypass surgery in 2010, he's back and sounds better than ever...
Another KISS Post [VIDEO]
KISS kicked off their 40th anniversary tour last night in Salt Lake City. Here's my problem with this tour; it's supposed to be KISS' 40th anniversary tour, so why are they bringing Def Leppard out on the road with them? I have nothing against Def Leppard, but with two big bands on the bill, KISS is only playing a 75 minute set, on their 40th anniversary tour...
Ramone Reviews: The New Mastodon
Man, it must suck being in Mastodon. Every time they release a new album, critics go nutzoid over it, hailing it a masterpiece of the genre. I'm not here to argue with them, but when critics and fans put you high on a pedestal, it has to be hard to live up to those expectations...
Dumb and Dumber To Trailer
OK, I'm impressed. I still have dried tears in the corners of my eyes from laughing. I just hope they haven't shown us all the funny scenes in the trailer.
