My Weekend Up North

So as I've done the past few years I spent my July 4th weekend up in the Petoskey, Harbor Springs area with my wife's family.   My mother in law is from the area so It's a nice break to get away for a few days and enjoy Northern Michigan.  One of the thing's you must do if you go to that area is check out M-119 out of Harbor Springs it's dubbed the "Tunnel of Trees". It is a very scenic drive that is one of the best in Michigan.  If you ride it is the perfect drive for motorcycles. We drove that up to Wilderness State Park, never actually been in the park so thankfully had a chance to stop in there and picnic along the northern shore of Lake Michigan just west of the Straits.  Hopefully someday can actually go there and camp out.  The rest of my time up north was enjoying the various traditions that my wife has each time we're up there and getting around the busy area during the holiday weekend.
