Spring Training games begin officially for the Detroit Tigers and during the spring and regular season the team will honor their late owner Mike Ilitch.

According to M-Live, the Tigers will pay tribute to their late owner by wearing a patch on their uniforms.

It is similar to what the Red Wings are wearing on their uniforms.  Except of it being red for the Red Wings, it is a white and blue patch that says Mr. I.

The first game of spring for the Tigers will be against Baltimore.  Before the game there will be a tribute to the late owner.
