With the Red Wings season wrapping up on Sunday what are Red Wings fans suppose to do now?  Usually we are use to watching some sort of playoff hockey.  Well we are lucky to have two teams gearing up for playoff hockey in Michigan.

Kalamazoo Wings will be apart of the Kelly Cup playoffs as they are set to play the Red Wings affiliate Toledo Walleye beginning on Friday.

The best of seven series will be in Toledo Friday and Saturday before returning to Kalamazoo for games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

The team just announced their playoff roster for the playoff run.

The Grand Rapids Griffins wrap up their AHL season this weekend.  They have clinched a playoff spot.   They have games this week with two versus Charlotte and one against the Milwaukee Admirals.

The Griffins recently welcomed back players who were with the Detroit Red Wings, Tomas Nosek, Ben Street, Matt Lorito and Robbie Russo.

We will find out their playoff matchup this weekend.

Hockey fans can always catch the Stanley Cup Playoffs that begin this week but it will feel strange not seeing the winged wheel apart of those games.

We will cheer on the K-Wings and the Griffins and hope for deep playoff runs for both.  Good Luck!
