A Rocker Needs Our Help

Long time Rocker fan Jim 'Kid' Griffith is in need of a heart transplant and must raise $10,000 for the anti-rejection medication he will need after the surgery.  Jim's from Sturgis ( my home away from home) which is significant because this community rallies around it's own as well as any community in the Rocker universe.  But they can't do it alone so I'm calling on the RK-Army to step up and make sure the kid has a fighting chance.

This Saturday there's a benefit from 1p-5p at Hillcrest Bar & Grill (my home away from home) on US 12 just East of downtown Sturgis.  They'll have dinner featuring Spaghetti or Chicken Fettuccine and even dinners to go.  It's only $10 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under.  Tickets are available at Hillcrest Bar & Grill and there's more:

-Private donations can be made to a special fund set up for Jim at Farmers State Bank- Sturgis branch.  It's all about the 'Kid'.  Hope you can help.
