Auditions Set for 2020 Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival

The Kalamazoo Valley Museum's 2020 Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival is March 7th. Hosted and produced entirely by the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, this free event welcomes visitors from all walks of musical life to meet instrument designers, attend workshops, and enjoy live performances from area musicians. Have you always wanted to be a part of the Fretboard Festival? You're invited to strut your stuff (or is it fret your stuff?) at an open call for all bands and musicians who play stringed instruments. You'll compete in the Play-In Contest on January 10th at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. Two musicians/bands that come out on top will make up the two final spots in the 2020 Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival lineup. The categories for 2020 are Ensemble & Solo.
