A lot of adults want to make reading a priority. Whether they want to set a good example to their children or need to take a much-desired break from the many screens in their lives, "I want to start reading, again, like I used to," is a conversation starter I have heard a lot lately. I know what you're thinking. It's been a long time since you finished the Chronicles of Narnia and you don't know where to begin. Portage District Library has you covered. Check out the Battle of the Book Clubs, Wednesday, September 4th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. No two area book clubs are created equal, and you'll get a chance to find the right fit for you. Whether you stay to one specific genre, keep up with the best seller list, or like discussing the differences between the book and the movie, there is a book club for you. Plus, tasty snacks will be provided and you'll have an opportunity to win great prizes.
