Being Stubborn Can Kill You

My doctor and my good friend Dr. Nick Sward and Katy Smit, who's husband Jeff passed a way 3 years ago, joined us on the show this morning for a very important reminder:  March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month and this year thousands of men will die from stubbornness. You may have seen it on a billboard and it's a fact.  So many men refuse to get a colonoscopy and die needlessly leaving behind family and friends who need them.

I had my first in 2011 resulting in a clean bill of health and let me tell you it was worth every minute.  But I'm not here to preach except to say: "Be a man and live up to your responsibilities as a man and make sure you're around to take care of your family.  If you're around 50 years old, call your primary doctor and he/she will take care of the rest.
