Thousands Expected For Bewitching Peddlers Of Halloween In Marshall Michigan
Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween, the biggest Halloween fine art event in the Midwest, is returning to Marshall, Michigan, on Saturday, September 26th. Celebrating its 9th year, the show features over 40 artists who share in the love of fine Halloween art, and thousands of people across the country and world are expected to attend.
The event's curator, Jennie Hepler-Takens, has curated the show herself every year and turned it into a 365-day-a-year project that brings the best artists from across the country together for one magical day, which she mentions in her recent press release:

Each year, the very best within the genre of fine Halloween art are extended invitations to the show. This hand-curated group is a gathering of people who believe in Halloween art.

What To Expect At Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween
Returning this year will be many well-renowned artists like Tom Kuebler, whose work has been collected by Guillermo del Toro, director of Pan's Labyrinth & Hellboy, as well as new artists like Christopher Thayer-Cox of October Rds. As Miss Hepler-Takens describes it, something else is in the works to create this unique environment.
As they unfold their artwork and begin to set up, it is as if by magic, the artists create an environment for their work and not just a table to display their works on. Featuring many mediums from pottery, art dolls, sculpture, wearable art, folk art, Illustration, paintings, spun cotton, metal, and soft sculpture, Bewitching Peddlers is sure to please collectors and Halloween enthusiasts alike.
There will be food, snacks, and pumpkins available at this family- friendly event.

Where Is the Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween?
The event will be held within the historic Calhoun County Fairgrounds in Marshall. What starts as a normal barn is magically transformed into a space filled with mini worlds of creation by the day of the show.

Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween Is Nothing Like A Halloween Craft Show
One of the major misconceptions is that this is just another Halloween craft show that you can find at your local expo center or farmers' market. Nothing could be further from the truth, as everything that is sold at this event is handmade and one of a kind, not hand-assembled. Every single piece of the art has been carefully crafted by the artists.

Even celebrities like the late Dolly Parton made a point every year of obtaining some of this special artwork. This art is highly sought after, as people will line up days in advance to be the first in line so that they can get their favorite collector's work before it sells.
The general admission for the event is 10 AM to 3 PM, but you can buy a ticket for the early buy event, which lasts from 8 AM to 10 AM. More info can be found on their event page.
