Pretty soon, you could go to your local grocery store and find Bimbo’s Pizza, as the Kalamazoo company has announced it's officially going statewide.

Bimbo’s Pizza is a family-owned and operated restaurant that opened back in December 1959 by Robert and Jennie Smilanich, and after nearly 70 years, the company has announced that it has been officially approved to sell its pizzas in stores.

They made the exciting announcement that bimbo‘s Pizza has recently received USDA certification, which allows them to sell their frozen pizzas wholesale. This is an exciting new adventure of growth for the company that recently made the announcement, thanking customers for supporting their family business and helping to continue their evolution:

This is a big step for our family business and allows us to expand Bimbo’s Pizza Frozen Pizzas into grocery stores, markets, social clubs (FOPs, VFWs, American Legions, and more), golf courses, and other licensed locations throughout Michigan.

They even went as far as offering people who don’t have an oven a complimentary one so they can serve their pizza:

NO OVEN? NO PROBLEM! Want to offer Bimbo’s Pizza to your members but don’t have an oven? We’ll provide one! We want to make it easy for your club to start offering Bimbo’s Pizza. We’re excited to bring the same Bimbo’s Pizza our customers have enjoyed since 1959 to even more locations throughout Michigan!

They’re urging people who are interested in carrying bimbo‘s pizza to text or call them at 269-217-5288 to get all the wholesale information from them. Currently, in Michigan, there are a handful of pizza companies that are wholesale and have sold their products in stores, like Buddy’s Pizza, the Detroit-style Pizza Company, Motor City Pizza Company, Traverse Bay Pizza Company, and many others.

It’s exciting that we could soon see a Kalamazoo restaurant representative in our local grocery stores.
