Bobbleheads, Hawaiian Shirts, Fireworks Among Promotions For 2020 Detroit Tigers
As the spring games begin in Lakeland, details for the upcoming season for the Detroit Tigers are being announced. The team announced the promotions schedule for 2020.
According to M-Live, today was the release of not only individual day game tickets for the Tigers, but also the announcement of their promotional schedule.
The big event for the Tigers in 2020 is the Lou Whitaker retirement ceremony and replica jersey day on August 29th. May 23rd fans will get the chance to pick up a Tigers Hawaiian shirt.
There will be a pair of bobblehead games featuring bobblehead giveaways of Niko Goodrum on July 17th and manager Ron Gardenhire on July 31.
The annual Star Wars night will be on May 9th and the Negro Leagues tribute game on July 18th. Nine fireworks nights will be scattered across the calendar.
New this summer will be Signature Saturday's. Fans will be able to get autographs from current and former players before games.
