Get Ready For A Magical Mile Of Lights In Marshall
Calhoun County Fairgrounds is a great spot for many annual events, including their county fair, Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween, and the annual Mary Mile event, which is a drive-thru Christmas light display that is back up for the season.
The fairgrounds in Marshall, Michigan, welcome the community to take part in this mile-long Christmas lighted path for $10 per car.

It happens every Thursday through Sunday from December 4th through the 28th from 6 to 9 PM.
The event will host special activities, including visits with Santa, who will be on the fairgrounds on Saturdays on December 13 and 20th from six to 8:30 PM in Floral Hall. The fairgrounds have asked people to park on the west end and enter by the main gate.
Kids will receive a small item and a cookie. The Calhoun County 4H Council will host a craft night for the kids on December 6th during Santa’s visit. There will be a live nativity held on Friday & Saturday night December 12th & 13th from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., and you can listen to 101.9 for the story as you drive through or visit Floral Hall and observe the display from the North wing. All activities in Floral Hall and live nativity are free.
The Country Christmas route will start at the fair entrance underneath a tunnel full of lights, and you can tune into 101.9 to hear Christmas music to enhance your experience. Participants will travel slowly through the mile-long fairgrounds to see all the displays.
On behalf of the fair board, we express extreme gratitude to all our volunteers, committee members, sponsors, and staff for making Merry Mile and the Christmas season even brighter. -Fairgrounds Manager, Cathy Combs
