Captain Lou’s Opening One Of Many Summer Attractions For South Haven
South Haven is home to tons of fun, family friendly summer attractions that we're all excited to be a part of. One of the favorites and staples of South Haven is Captain Lou's Bar & Grill, which is right off the Black River next to Lake Michigan. They took to Facebook yesterday to announce their re-opening for the season which will happen May 4th:
Captain Lou's is an awesome place to enjoy great food while also being able to be by the water. On top of their re-opening for the summer, there are tons of fun activities going down in South haven this summer that you can enjoy nearby as well. Here are a few to check out:
- Mermaid Megafest- MegaFest is a mermaid themed festival currently being planned for Memorial Day weekend.
- Harborfest 2018- This annual festival, celebrating maritime history in South Haven features concerts, dragon boat races, kids events, arts and crafts, a beer tent and many other fun events.
- 60th Annual South Haven Art Fair- This is the longest running event in the region featuring 120 artists, Michigan food, The Casco Band and over 40,000 attendees happening Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1.
- Light Up The Lake Fireworks 2018- Watch the fireworks set off over Lake Michigan at South Pier July 3rd at dusk.
