A Festival All About Carnival Food Is Coming To Michigan This Fall
There's an entire event centered around carnival food that's gonna be posted up in Battle Creek this fall, and it's a thing I didn't realize I needed until now. Carnival Food Fest will be taking place at Kellogg Arena, just in time to get our winter bod on.
They recently made an announcement on their event page highlighting the event, which will take place this fall:

The #1 Carnival Food Is...WHAT?
I recently tried looking into what people thought the number 1 carnival food was, and I was honestly surprised by what Watch Mojo came up with. They said...cotton candy. Really? This was their reasoning:
Containing almost nothing but sugar, with just a tiny smidge of food dye and flavoring, cotton candy is not only a favorite in the United States but also a chosen snack all around the world. It’s made by pouring liquid sugar into a machine which spins the sugar around until it solidifies into delicate little strands of deliciousness. Plopped on top of a nearby paper cone, the result is sugary, easy to eat and impossible to resist. No carnival or fair is complete without this sweet treat.
I get that it is popular but this stuff hit way harder when we were at Chuck E Cheese. Honestly, I think low-key, the GOAT of carnival foods is the french fries. Some may argue it's elephant ears or funnel cakes, but something about the combo of peanut oil and potatoes goes a long way.
What do you think is the best carnival food? Either way, I'm sure they'll have it at the event.
