Center Stage Theatre Presents Into the Woods Jr This Weekend
What do a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold have in common? They are important ingredients that make up the plot of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, and Center Stage Theatre is giving it the Jr. treatment this weekend. Follow the Baker and his Wife as they set out to find the fixings for an important potion and end up meeting all manor of fairy tale characters in the process. From Red Riding Hood to Jack and his magical beanstalk to Rapunzel, Cinderella, to two very charming princes, and everyone in between, you'll enjoy how effortlessly Sondheim wove these stories together to create one original tale. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll be humming these songs for days.
