There’s a new Christmas commercial you may have seen on television during the Detroit Lions football game on Thanksgiving that was made by Chevy.

If you missed it, the commercial was actually filmed in Michigan and shows different businesses and farms, while telling the story of how families grow and change over time, and it’s an absolute tear-jerker.

As a mother and father make their way to their child's house for the holidays, the route they take reminds them of all the memories of the holidays with their children, their dog, and the changes time brings. For me, it was the dog that really hit me. But it's a beautiful commercial.

Even someone in the comments who typically doesn't like commercials was moved by this:

The emotional roller coaster that was felt can't be explained. This struck a heart string. This commercial touches everyone because this is what life is really about. This is reality. This is what everyone wants to experience, is experiencing, or had experienced.

One person who owns property, which was shown in the commercial, commented on the video:

Thats our family farm, my grandpa's legacy, in the background at 1:45. & our fields shown throughout the whole thing. Our cattle used to graze at the 'greenhouse' @ 1:50. My dad & I are farming it now together, 3rd & 4th generations. We watched them film this at Crooked Creek, our neighbor's dairy farm, about a week ago. Kinda cool & we're a Chevy family.
