Costco Food Court Is Members Only Now, and Always Has Been
They say membership has its privileges, like that $1.50 hot dog combo at Costco. The food court has always required a membership card, but it hasn't been enforced...until now.
They will not be taking reservations, and it's not exactly the kind of "members only" dinner club that would impress a fancy date, but the word is that Costco will begin enforcing membership requirements to dine at its food court.
Like the samples at Sam's Club, shoppers look forward to the $1.99 pizza slices and $1.50 hot dog and a pop combo that has long been a staple of a trip to Costco. Those who have store memberships will continue to enjoy fine American fast food cuisine, while those without will be...without.
