Costco is one of the most popular stores throughout the Midwest, offering people the ability to shop in bulk and knock out some of those things that will keep us from having to go to the grocery store every other day.

Stocking up is a huge part of the American culture, especially with places like Costco and Sam’s Club, but one of the most recognizable features of Costco is the food court. The Costco food court has taken on a personality of its own with its classic menu of huge pizza slices, and the foot-long hotdog & Pepsi product fountain drink combo for only $1.50.

Unfortunately, for those who dabble in the food court at Costco, this will change permanently as Costco has announced that they will no longer be selling Pepsi products and will instead switch back to Coca-Cola products.

Coca-Cola was the original product that they sold in their food court since the stores first opened in 1985 until they made the switch in 2013. However, soon all the fountain drinks will be replaced by Coca-Cola products.

Luckily for shoppers who are looking to buy cans of Pepsi, that should not be an issue because they haven’t mentioned anything about removing the canned product from their stores, it will just no longer be available in the food court combo, and the $1.50 hotdog combo is going nowhere, so at least there’s something sacred left in this world.

The change should affect all 17 locations in Michigan and all nine Indiana Costco locations sometime this year, which are located in Avon, Fort Wayne, Granger, Noblesville, Merrillville, Evansville, and Indianapolis.
